Community Initiatives

Through its 2023 – 2024 Community Program, the Junior League of Houston will support 32 projects, some of which are long-standing partnerships while others are in their infancy.

Historically, the Junior League has taken applications for new volunteer opportunities annually from outside agencies through its Community Initiatives Committee.

Given the growing need for volunteers in the Greater Houston Area, the League is researching various elements of its application process including but not limited to areas in which League volunteers can be the most impactful, successful ways to evolve existing partnerships and develop new partnerships, and areas in which League members are most engaged.

The 2022 – 2023 Volunteer Request Application Guidelines can be found by clicking here. Part One of The Junior League of Houston, Inc. Volunteer Request Application, will be evaluated during the 2022 – 2023 Junior League year to become a potential Junior League of Houston project during the 2023 – 2024 Junior League year.
