Budget/Volunteer Requests

Agencies where the Junior League has an existing community project should follow the timeline and instructions below to submit requests for continued budget and volunteer support for 2018 – 2019. An agency that wants to apply for the creation of a new, ongoing volunteer opportunity with the Junior League should review the information about the Junior League’s Community Initiatives.

 


2019 – 2020 Budget/Volunteer Request Timeline

Sunday, July 1, 2018 Budget/volunteer request for 2019 – 2020 due to the Community Vice President electronically. This includes program support and grant monies. The 2019 – 2020 Volunteer and Budget Request form is available online.
Thursday, November 15, 2018 Deadline for amendments to budget/volunteer request for 2019 – 2020.
June – December 2018 Impact Committees review and evaluate community projects, and budget/volunteer requests for 2019 – 2020 Community Program.
January 2019 Joint Community Council and Finance Council review to allocate program support and grant monies for 2019 – 2020 budgets.
March 2019 Board of Directors reviews and votes on proposed 2019 – 2020 budgets.
May 2019 Membership votes on proposed 2019 – 2020 budgets.
Saturday, June 1, 2019 Contracts and approved budgets are mailed by President to agencies.

 


2018 – 2019 Budget Funding Timeline

Friday, June 1, 2018 2018 – 2019 League contract and approved budget mailed by President to agency.
Friday, June 22, 2018 Signed 2018 – 2019 contract due back to President.
Wednesday, May 1, 2019 Deadline for submitting 2018 – 2019 Stewardship Form regarding grant support monies spent, available online.*
Wednesday, May 15, 2019 Deadline for submitting requests for reimbursement of project support expenses.
