Budget & Volunteer Requests

Agencies where the Junior League has an existing community project should follow the timeline and instructions below to submit requests for continued budget and volunteer support for 2019 – 2020. An agency that wants to apply for the creation of a new, ongoing volunteer opportunity with the Junior League should review the information about the Junior League’s Community Initiatives.

 


2020 – 2021 Budget/Volunteer Request Timeline

Monday, July 1, 2019 Budget/volunteer request for 2020 – 2021 due to the Community Vice President electronically. This includes program support and grant monies. The 2020 – 2021 Volunteer and Budget Request form is available online.
Friday, November 15, 2019 Deadline for amendments to budget/volunteer request for 2020 – 2021.
June – December 2019 Impact Committees review and evaluate community projects, and budget/volunteer requests for 2020 – 2021 Community Program.
January 2020 Joint Community Council and Finance Council review to allocate program support and grant monies for 2020 – 2021 budgets.
March 2020 Board of Directors reviews and votes on proposed 2020 – 2021 budgets.
May 2020 Membership votes on proposed 2020 – 2021 budgets.
Monday, June 1, 2020 Contracts and approved budgets are mailed by President to agencies.

 


2019 – 2020 Budget Funding Timeline

Monday, June 3, 2019 2019 – 2020 League contract and approved budget mailed by President to agency.
Friday, June 21, 2019 Signed 2019 – 2020 contract due back to President.
Friday, May 1, 2020 Deadline for submitting 2019 – 2020 Stewardship Form regarding grant support monies spent, available online.*
Friday, May 15, 2020 Deadline for submitting requests for reimbursement of project support expenses.
