PC Moment: The volunteer/philanthropic season for the league’s 5,000 members kicked off with the annual fashion show dinner, this year with the addition of a Style Lounge for VIP ticket holders. The champagne flowed as these early guests garnered clean beauty tips from Switch2Pure, received mini-manicures from Cherry Nails, enjoyed coiffure touch-ups from Fringe Salon and Color Bar, and more.

As is tradition, a three-course dinner from the Junior League Tea Room followed a glam fashion presentation from Tootsies. The retailer’s beloved creative director, Fady Armanious, presented the show that included designs from Marchesa, Carolina Herrera, Veronica Beard, Alice + Olivia, and more, all modeled by league volunteers.

Taking the reins of the upcoming season in which the Junior League of Houston contributes $2 million in volunteers and cash support to organizations across the city are Jayne Johnston, president; Rachel Regan, president-elect; Katie Graham, financial vice president; Julie Baughman, development vice president; Amanda Hanks, membership vice president; and Kalinda Campbell, community vice president.
