Volunteer JL models donned bold, bright apparel for the season.

THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF HOUSTON USHERED IN spring last week with a Trina Turk fashion show at the organization’s swanky uptown ballroom. Volunteer models from the Junior League took their turn on the runway wearing vibrant frocks, playful rompers, floral caftans, and more from Trina Turk’s latest collection. The spring-ready looks stayed true to the cheery colors and graphic patterns the designer is most known for.

After the show, guests ate steak, salad, crème brûlée, and the Junior League Tea Room’s ever-popular pecan ball—a scoop of vanilla ice cream covered in pecans and praline syrup drizzle, nesting in an almond lace basket.

Guests also purchased Trina Turk ice buckets—which also served as table centerpieces for the night—and two won a Palm Springs-themed gift package, including a Trina Turk gift certificate, Palm Springs coffee table book, and manicure at Paloma Nails.
