HOUSTON, TEXAS – On February 1, 2, and 3, 2007, the Junior League of Houston will host the 59th Annual Charity
Ball, Southern Nights. Mary Eliza Shaper serves as the ball’s chairman. Denis Davis Mayfield serves as the underwriting
chairman. More than 1,000 guests are expected to attend over three nights. The ball is the celebration of the League’s
largest fundraising effort for its community initiatives.
