Fashion Preview Features Vibrant Looks from Trina Turk

In celebration of the new season and warmer temps, the Junior League of Houston invited guests to join them at the Spring Style Show, featuring chic looks from Trina Turk. Attendees enjoyed a glamorous spring fashion preview showcasing the designer’s colorful and bold looks for the upcoming season, a tasty meal courtesy of the Junior League Tea Room and full bar service. Two lucky guests received a Palm Springs-themed gift package, which included a Trina Turk gift certificate, a Palm Springs coffee table book, and a manicure at Paloma Nails.

Since 1925, the Junior League of Houston Tea Room has been the training ground for its volunteers to be educated in the discipline of service. In addition to serving as the location for member meetings and training, the Tea Room and Ballroom accommodate private events, provide lunch service and are filled daily with corporate and nonprofit breakfast meetings and luncheons. The support of the Tea Room patron members assists the League in its commitment to Building A Better Community. The Junior League of Houston partners with organizations to provide services and assistance directly to those in need, delivering positive change through the efforts of its highly trained and empowered female volunteers. In 2017 – 2018, more than 1,400 dedicated volunteers, 82 percent of whom work outside of the home, will contribute over 100,000 hours of service in the Houston community. The mentoring relationships fostered within many of these community projects and between League members cultivate civic leadership and a tradition of service.
