Community Assistance Grants

The deadline for grant application submission for 2016 – 2017 has passed. Please inquire during the submission process next spring, 2017.

For more than 90 years, The Junior League of Houston, Inc. has been committed to improving the Houston community. The Junior League is committed to exploring new opportunities that expand its community outreach through Community Assistance Grants.

The Community Assistance Committee evaluates grant applications for projects in the Houston community that do not currently receive volunteer support from the League and makes funding recommendations to the League's Board of Directors for consideration. Specifically, requests that address a critical or basic need, fund a pilot program and/or expand a significant service to the community are considered.

The deadline for grant submission for the 2016 – 2017 Community Assistance program has passed. Applications were due Friday, July 1, 2016. Should your organization be interested in applying next year, applications and submission guidelines are typically posted in early spring with submission deadlines set for early to mid-summer.
