WHO: The Junior League of Houston, Inc., an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

WHAT: One of the city’s best-kept secrets for tasty dishes on-the-go, The Pantry at the Junior League of Houston is offering the general public holiday classics conveniently packed and ready to simply heat up, plate and enjoy. Instead of being stuck in the kitchen during precious family time, savor the holiday with a chef-prepared meal. The Pantry is offering a complete dinner, a variety of à la carte side dishes, rolls and desserts – and for the first time this year, breakfast items have been added to the menu, such as the Sausage Breakfast Tart, Quiche Lorraine and Cinnamon Rolls. The complete Thanksgiving meal package serves 10 – 12 people and includes a 22-lb. roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, one quart of giblet gravy, mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar and pecans, corn casserole made with bacon and sour cream, cheesy broccoli rice casserole, one pint of cranberry-orange relish, two dozen signature dinner rolls, one pecan pie and one pumpkin pie. The Junior League’s famous orange rolls are also available by the dozen.
