One of Houston’s best-kept secrets for delicious dishes on-the-go is The Pantry at The Junior League of Houston, Inc.
November 2017

Stocked with everything from bakery items to frozen casseroles prepared in the Tea Room Kitchen, the Junior League provides convenient yet quality food for the general public. With the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaching and to-do lists growing, Houstonians can check one thing off their list. This year, let The Pantry take care of Thanksgiving dinner. Instead of being stuck in the kitchen during precious family time, you can enjoy the holiday and still have a delicious (chef prepared!) meal. The Pantry offers a complete dinner, a variety of à la carte side dishes, rolls and desserts – and for the first time this year breakfast items have been added to the menu too. The complete Thanksgiving meal package serves 10-12 people and includes a 22-lb. roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, one quart of giblet gravy, mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar and pecans, corn casserole made with bacon and sour cream, cheesy broccoli rice casserole, one pint of cranberry-orange relish, two dozen signature JLH dinner rolls, one pecan pie and one pumpkin pie. The Junior League’s infamous orange rolls are also available by the dozen. Orders will be accepted until Thursday, November 16 and may be picked up from the Junior League (1811 Briar Oaks Lane) on Wednesday, November 22 between 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. To place an order and view the full list of available dishes, visit jlh.org or call The Pantry at 713.622.5965.

Due to significant preparation lead time, please note that all Thanksgiving orders are final and non-refundable after Thursday, November 16.
